One of the greatest gifts from God is eyesight. While many are born blind, many others lose their eye sight due to diseases and illnesses. If poor people are affected, they cannot afford to get treated due to financial constraints and eventually lose their eyesight.

Sri Narayani Hospital is conducting free cataract surgery for the poor who are unable to afford the cost of being treated in a hospital. Patients with cataract and other eye related diseases are identified in eye care camps and brought to the hospital for surgery. The basis of this philanthropic activity has roots in Amma’s compassion to serve the poor.
