DUTY AND RESPONSIBILITY
M.BANU – BME Head of the Dept
A)
1. Daily visit to the Departments, Mainly OT, ICU, CCU, NICU, mainly their
Working condition, Battery Back up, Vge tools, UPS.
2. Attending the Emergency and Break down calls
3. Repair and servicing the Medical equipments
B)
1. Work allotment for the staff.
2. Supervision of the Medical Gases Plant and the R.O Plants.
3. SAH Vallalar, andArni Clinic equipments maintenance.
C)
1. Purchase of New Medical Equipments and the Spares.
2. Installation, Errection and Commissioning.
3. Company service and service follow-ups for the equipments, Gas plants as well as The R.O.Plant.
D)
1. Insurance for the Medical Equipments.
2. Insurance Claim for Medical Equipments spare replacement also for the Hospital Building, glass doors, etc
3. Follow ups for the Insurance Claim.
M.RAJA BABU – BME Supervisor
1. Daily Visiting to the Departments Mainly Casualty, Radiology, and Laboratory. Routine Check up for the equipments Working condition, Battery Back up, Voltages ,UPS input,output,Load Voltages
2. ICU, CCU, NICU – Ventilators, ABG Maintenance, Calibration.
3. Operation Theater weekly Maintenance carried out.
4. Servicing the dialysis machines, daily parameters check up, biweekly, monthly maintenance, calibration for the machines
5. Attending the Emergency and the Break down calls.
6. Repair and servicing of all Medical Equipments in the entire Hospital.
7. Maintaining the Medical Gas plant,R.O plant.
8. CSSD Maintenance,service and Repair for the Sterlizers.
9. Medical GasesCylinders stock maintaining and ordering the cylinders.
10. Supervising the Plant Operators.
E.RAJESH &G.MURALI - BME

1. Chlorination and Antiscalent adding in the FRB Tanks.
2. Back Wash
3. Maintaining the Feed and Product flow
4. Raw and the Product water Conductivity
5. Maintaining the pump working conditions – 5 nos

1. Checking the Medical gases Pressure levels in the Departments and the wards wall points Outlets
