Endoscopy: The endoscopy room is situated in the OPD area where patients are examined and treated on a daily basis. This section is equipped with a team of doctors from the ENT Department and two staff nurses.

Patients with problems like snoring, laryngeal problems such as hoarseness and even those with throat cancer are examined by flexible nasopharyngolaryngoscopy. This excellent diagnostic tool enables ENT specialists to insert the scope through the nasal opening and view the sinus, pharynx and larynx in a matter of minutes and without causing much trauma to patients.
Rigid nasal endoscopy is used for patients with nose, sinus and nasopharyngeal problems. It uses an endoscope that has a tiny video camera at the end of it, which allows to readily view the images on a monitor.
