Services provided 

1. Preanaesthesia OPD - all patients posted for surgery  are seen either in the Anaesthesia OPD or in the wards ( non- ambulant patients) during working hours Monday to Saturday.
2. ICU services - all admissions to ICU are through the ICU Consultant on call . The ICU Consultant takes care of  all surgical patients in the ICU, takes direct responsibility for  ventilated patients  in the ICU, attends to all Casualty and Ward emergency  calls for airway and respiratory compromise, and provides on call services for 24 hours including on weekends.
3. Operation theatres - Anesthetic services in the OT complex .
24 hours on call  services for emergency surgeries.
4. Anaesthesia services in Shakti Amma Hospital.
5. Anesthesia and OT management Course - co-ordinating lectures and in service training for candidates.
